You have the magical power to stop one and only one of the following two scenarios. Which would you prevent?
1 You discover that your partner is wanted for murder, and you call the police to report him or her.
2. You discover that your partner is wanted for murder, and because of your love, you help him or her escape the police.

Well... if I know Partner murdered someone, then prevent #2.
However, if I know Partner is falsely accused and for some reason is not going to get a fair trial, then maybe prevent #1. But really, in most cases that are not Hollywood movies, it would be better to just suck it up and deal with the legal process than flee.
