I am going to have to prevent the public library from banning the book. The library/school district cover the same area, but obviously the public library system caters to more people than the school district does. There are plenty of branch locations of the public library, so I think any kid who wanted to read a book banned from school could still get access to it--but plenty of people who depend on the public library for books wouldn't have any such alternatives.
I would stop the school. A ban by our local library would affect fewer people than a ban by the school. If it were a bigger library, I might have to rethink that. Also my favorite book is one that should be introduced to teenagers so it should be in schools.
