Ah, the difference a word makes.... Here is how I originally intended yesterday's dilemma to go, which will be today's dilemma:
You have the magical power to stop one and only one of the following two scenarios. Which would you prevent?
1. Human-animal hybrid cloning is successful.
2. Extinct animal cloning is not successful.
(And, for the intrigued, attempts at both of these things recently made the science news circuit. The extinct ibex baby managed to live for a few minutes. The human-animal hybrid clones proved unsuccessful. So far.)

I'm going to prevent #2. I'm actually intrigued by #1 from a medical perspective. Let's assume the hybrids would be used for good, not evil.
