Hmm, interesting. While I suppose #1 could be used to go "ack! a glowing fish! not going to eat that!", it could also be used for pinpointing polluted areas, which would enable location of the source of the pollution, and (hopefully) clean-up. This would have cascading benefits throughout the food chain in return. Otoh, #2 seems like it would primarily help humans. So I'll prevent #2.
