Dilemma 4/24/09

You have the magical power to stop one and only one of the following two scenarios. Which would you prevent?
1. The entire world population suddenly becomes female.
2. The only babies born in the world are male.

Prevent #2. If all the babies born are male, eventually the entire human population would be male and thus, would die out. In scenario 1, as long as there was still a supply of sperm, the women would be able to have children (not sure if the scenario is also turning new boy children into girls). At any rate, the women would be able to continue the human species. And perhaps more importantly, it would very be interesting to see how differently a world run exclusively by women would function.
I do nothing and let both happen. Then we harvest and freeze eggs, hoping for the best in the future ;)
