Ooh. I think #2 would be cool... Who wouldn't want to see a real live Dodo Bird?! Or a Passenger pigeon or a Tasmanian tiger...! Hence, I will prevent #1.
#2 would be wonderful. Think of all the things that have become extinct in our life time. Bring them back and life might be a little bit more like it is supposed to be.
