1. You get a job requires you to work 10 hours a day, seven days a week.
2. Your partner gets a job that requires your partner work 10 hours a day, seven days a week.

#2 is practically reality (or has been). My "job" is 24/7.
I'll prevent #1 b/c I don't want to go out & work 70 hrs a week. ;)
Ditto to what Eden said. We have hubbies with similar work schedules.
Well... I often work 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week. Such is the life of a professional student ;-) J sometimes works 10hrs/day but not 7 days/week. I guess I'll prevent #2.
