You have the magical power to stop one and only one of the following two scenarios. Which would you prevent?
1. The government bans ice cream because it is bad for you.
2. The government mandates all citizens should eat brussel sprouts at least twice a week because they are good for you.

Good one. I'll prevent #1 b/c (1) that would suck and (2) I hate prohibition more than mandates. Plus I'm sure people would get creative w/ the sprouts. Let's drown 'em in cheese!
Both suck, but I'd rather not have something I want than be forced to eat something I don't want, and I hate brussels sprouts, so I'd vote to prevent #2.
Definitely prevent #2. I hate brussels sprouts way more than I like ice cream (unfortunately!).
