Dilemma 5/5/09

You have the magical power to stop one and only one of the following two scenarios. Which would you prevent?

1. You are unable to read words.
2. You are unable to work with numbers.

For me, the ability to read is one I cannot fathom living without. If I can't work with numbers, it's bad, but life goes on.

I'd prevent #1.

I'll prevent #1. It would be really hard just in general to be unable to read (let alone all the specific things that I do that require reading). #2 would be irritating, but lots of really smart people tell me it's possible, so... ;-)

I'll prevent #1. I'm not that far off as it is ;)

Deleted previous comment b/c I fucked up my choice. I always get confused & say what I'd accept rather than what I'd prevent.
